The Cocktail Kitchen
Just down the road from our beautiful Hotel is one of St. Lawrence Gaps best finds for a fun casual dinner with drinks, The Cocktail Kitchen. Delicious food, to die for drinks as well as a friendly staff and top it all off with how beautifully everything is presented. Cocktail Kitchen has quickly earned a reputation for being the place to beat when it comes to amazing drinks at a reasonable price ( they have happy hour twice a day so they’re plenty opportunity to try them out.)
The head Chef, Damien “Day Day” Leach was named Caribbean Chef of the Year in 2016 and has been passionate about cooking since the age of 13. In Barbados he has also worked at Tapas, The Cliff and the Mews, just to name a few.
Customers can choose between dining inside, on the patio or on the rooftop deck . Since the restaurant has a menu just for the kids this location really is a great choice for the whole family.
Some of the menu favorites are the CK burger, the oxtail, the Thai seafood cakes and the coconut ceviche. The Cocktail kitchen is also really versatile, lots of people go there to enjoy a casual yet intimate dinner, but it's also a perfect location for a girls night out. What the many customers seem to agree on is that the starters are so delicious, filling and affordable you don't even need an entree if you're looking for a more tapas or shareable type of night. The atmosphere also works well for more groups with mood lighting and live music on some days.
During their amazing happy hours which last from 5-7 and 10 - 11 daily, you can enjoy 2 for 1 margaritas, daiquiris, and pina coladas. The full drink list is extremely impressive, but customers can't seem to stop raving about coconut mojito, tequila time and the rum runner.
